Our assisted living home isn’t a resort or a grand facility with elevators and pools—and that’s exactly why families choose us. We're built for comfort, simplicity, and personalized care that helps our residents feel truly seen, safe, and at ease. With just 10 residents, a peaceful setting, and caregivers who treat your loved one like family, this is assisted living the way it should be.
Our spaces are warm, clean, and actually lived in—where residents can enjoy their favorite chair, chat with friends at the table, or spend a little time outdoors in the garden. Our home is designed to support daily life, not just house it.
Families tell us how much more relaxed their loved one seems after moving in—and how welcome they feel when they come to visit. That matters deeply to us.
Our assisted living approach is all about balance—providing just the right amount of support while still honoring each resident’s independence. Whether it’s help with bathing, dressing, or medication reminders, we’re there when needed, without hovering. With fewer residents and more time for each person, we’re able to offer care that feels respectful, not routine. Residents maintain a sense of autonomy, confidence, and comfort—because that’s what truly makes a place feel like home.
Our caregivers are the heart of our home. We hire our CNAs for warmth and compassion as much as experience, and we’re highly selective to ensure strong, lasting relationships with residents. This helps reduce turnover and creates meaningful connection.
Every team member also receives specialized training through Relias, a nationally respected senior care educator—equipping us to meet the physical, emotional, and medical needs of aging with confidence and compassion. Your loved one’s well-being is always our priority.
ASSISTED LIVING WITH A HEART
Assisted living should bring relief—not more complexity. That’s why our home is intentionally small, peaceful, and easy to navigate.
There’s help when it’s needed, independence when it’s not, and just enough activity to keep each day fulfilling without feeling busy or chaotic.
Our home is warm, clean, and genuinely lived in. Common spaces are relaxing and inviting—and they actually get used. Whether it’s sharing meals, participating in a favorite activity, or simply enjoying quiet time, every space is designed to feel familiar and comforting.
Residents enjoy real time outdoors in spaces designed for use, not just appearance. Gardening, sunshine, fresh air, and nature are all part of our daily rhythm. These small joys play a big role in emotional well-being. (See our Life & Activities page for more details).
"From the moment we walked in, we knew this was the right place for Mom. The staff is kind, thoughtful, and always one step ahead when it comes to her care. It feels less like a facility and more like a home—with people who truly enjoy what they do."
- Karen T.
"After visiting several larger communities, we were so relieved to find this small, peaceful home. My dad gets the help he needs, but still feels independent and respected. We love the quiet setting, the home-cooked meals, and how well the staff knows him."
- James R.
Our beautifully designed, 10 resident home allows us to provide deeply personalized care in a peaceful, familiar setting. Unlike large facilities, there are no long hallways or overwhelming common areas. We hire and retain the very best caregivers, which offers your loved one an additional sense of consistency and friendship in daily life.
We offer daily activities tailored to each resident’s abilities and interests—common activities include music, light gardening, art, reminiscence, and simple routines that promote physical movement and a stimulate the senses.
All of our caregivers receive specialized training through Relias, a nationally recognized leader in senior care education, along with hands-on instruction in Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care®. This training goes well beyond the state’s basic requirements and equips our team to respond skillfully and compassionately to the wide range of needs that come with aging—including cognitive and memory changes.
Importantly, every caregiver is trained in both assisted living and memory care, so your loved one receives the same high-quality care and thoughtful attention—regardless of who is working that day. For us, training is not a simple checklist, but something we focus on daily and weekly as we see opportunities to improve the lives and care of our residents.
We’re also highly selective in our hiring process. We look for team members with warmth, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail. The result is a stable, reliable staff that knows how to notice the little things, respond with empathy, and follow through on the routines that matter most.
How well do you know your residents?
We believe truly great care goes far beyond meeting basic needs—it starts with genuinely knowing the person. Every resident who joins our home brings with them a rich life story, personal preferences, and unique routines, and we work hard to honor that.
Our caregivers are required to memorize detailed preferences for each resident, including things like favorite snacks, how they take their coffee, preferred music or movies, and what helps them feel most at ease. We even hold pop quizzes during staff meetings to make sure everyone stays sharp and attentive.
Each caregiver also has access to a written profile for every resident, so care stays consistent—even when staff shifts change. This level of personalization helps residents feel recognized, valued, and more at home from day one.
Social connection matters at every stage of aging—whether a resident is living with memory loss or simply adjusting to new routines and surroundings. In our home, we encourage staff to spend intentional time with residents each day, whether it’s a few minutes of conversation, sharing a laugh, or simply checking in with a kind word and a listening ear. Small moments of connection can have a big impact.
Mealtimes are a natural opportunity for interaction and community. With just two dining tables and 10 residents, every meal feels like a family gathering—calm, familiar, and unhurried. Residents are encouraged to join the group, enjoy nourishing food, and take part in the subtle joys of shared conversation, even if they aren't always the ones starting it.
In a small home like ours, relationships come naturally. The setting is peaceful, the routines are predictable, and the environment supports connection—without pressure or overwhelm.
